Troop 356 Takes on Sun ‘n Fun

April 12 – 14, 2024 For over 10 years, Troop 356 has attended the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida. On Saturday, the Troop woke up at 5 AM to assist ballooners in setting up their hot air balloons. Among the fun activities, scouts provided necessary assistance in parking operations. The troop had the exhilarating opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring Thunderbirds in action, adding an unforgettable highlight to their experience. On Sunday, we continued our tradition of stopping at Fred’s Southern Kitchen, where we celebrated Mr. Gibbons’ birthday, leaving a great end to an amazing trip.
