April 4-6, 2025 This year marks another amazing Sun n’ Fun. 50+1. Almost since inception Troop 356 has attended Sun n’ Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida. On Saturday, the Troop woke up at 5 AM to assist ballooners in setting up their hot air balloons. This year was the first year we did not need to volunteer so that allowed us more time for fun activity’s. The troop had the fantastic opportunity to witness the Blue Angels in action, adding an unforgettable highlight to their experience. On Sunday, Dr. Butzer showed scouts how to conduct a pre-flight check on a airplane, a key a part of the avation merit badge. Once again Troop 356 made Sun n’ Fun a successful camping trip.
